A Clearinghouse is a listing of upcoming chess tournaments, activities and events for the purpose of assisting organizers in avoiding scheduling conflicts with one another. Naturally, it may also serve as an event calendar for players. However, players relying on this listing should remember that a Clearinghouse, unlike a calendar, includes items that may only be in planning stages, which may change dates, formats, etc. or be removed altogether.
